Two soldiers were reportedly found unresponsive at their Fort Hood residences just one day apart from each other.

Spc. Devon Michael Wulff, 23, was found unresponsive at his home on Feb. 28 and died three days later, and Pvt. Colton Everett Vassar, 29, was discovered on March 1, according to two separate press releases from Fort Hood, Texas.

Both incidents are under investigation.

Wulff, of Hicksville, Ohio, entered active duty in August 2015 as an infantryman. In 2016 he was assigned to 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, according to the press release.

He deployed to support the Republic of Korea from February through October 2016.

His awards include a National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and Army Service Ribbon.

Vassar, from Arlington, Texas, entered active duty in October 2015 as a Bradley fighting vehicle system maintainer. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, according to a press release.

He deployed to support the Republic of Korea from July 2017 through February this year.

Vassar’s awards include a National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.

Fort Hood did not immediately release a photo of Vassar.
